They eventually met a great hermit, and he instructed them to bathe once in a sacred pond. After doing so, their hair grew back. However, due to their greed, they each bathed multiple times, hoping for more blessings. As a result, they lost all their hair again. Later, they traveled to a village where they all wanted to marry the same woman at once. In the end, they died because of their foolishness and ignorance.
