Long ago, there was a wealthy couple, but they had no children. The wife persuaded her husband to take a second wife. When the second wife became pregnant, the first wife poisoned her, causing both the mother and the unborn child to die. After their deaths, they continued to harm one another throughout each of their reincarnations. In a later life, one was reborn as a human named Koltida, and the other was reborn as a female ogress. A monk eventually reconciled the two of them, urging them to treat each other as sisters.
