At that time, a venomous snake came and trailed along their path to demonstrate its power. Because of the snakeâs power, both the husband and wife died, and the parents performed the traditional funeral rites.
The venomous snake then asked the serpent why there were so many people in the village. The serpent explained that the villagers were celebrating, because they had known that the venomous snake was so powerful that even just touching a person with its body could kill them. But this time, no one died, so the villagers were rejoicing.
Defeated by the serpent, the venomous snake gave up its venomous power, and from that point onward, it no longer possessed its deadly strength
