On their journey, they encountered the kingâs soldiers announcing a reward for anyone brave enough to kill a giant. After they succeeded in defeating the giant, the blind man married the princess, as promised by the king, and ascended the throne. The cripple was appointed as the royal advisor (or viceroy)
