One day, a rabbit came down to a pond to drink water and met a snail. The snail told the rabbit that if it wanted to drink the water, it would have to ask for permission first.
Angered by this, the rabbit challenged the snail to a race. The snail cleverly had its fellow snail spread out all around the edge of the pond.
Because of this trick, the rabbit lost the bet and, from that day on, stopped drinking water from the pond. As for the snail, they continued to live peacefully in the pond.
