Aunt Hegarty, the famous world explorer, asks her five nieces to go with her on her next sea voyage. There is only one rule-no boys will be allowed on her boat. Then a sixth niece, Annie, arrives from an orphanage to join Sophie, Harriet, Rose, Lucy, and Emma on the Happy-Go-Gay. The little streamer leaves and all seems well. But soon, strange noises are heard from down in the ship's hold!
