The husband was addicted to alcohol and gambling. One day, after losing a gambling game, the husband sold all their property and even sold his wife for four ticals to a rich man. The husband took the four ticals to gamble, but no one accepted him. Because of his addictions, he eventually hit rock bottom and became a monk. Meanwhile, the wife was genuinely loved by the rich man, and they lived together happily.
