Later on, King Reajkol fell in love with Sovann Mosa, even though she was a poor commoner, because she was exceptionally beautiful. However, since she was not of royal blood, the king decided not to marry her. Instead, he chose to marry Princess Romsay Sok, a royal princess from the Kingdom of Chandaborey, who possessed magical hair. The king ordered his soldiers to prepare a royal boat and send it to escort Princess Romsay Sok. When Sovann Mosa heard this news, she asked her crocodile, Athon, to stop the boat. Princess Romsay Sok, realizing what had happened, used her divine power by plucking out a strand of her magical hair and striking the sea, causing the ocean to dry up and turn into land. The royal boat became stuck in the newly formed land, and that land rose up into a mountain shaped like a boat. From that time on, people called it Phnom Sampov — the Boat Mountain — as it is still known today.
