ព្រះនាងសក់ក្រអូបជាបុត្រីរបស់យក្ស​ ។​លុះដល់ពេលនាងចម្រើនវ័យនាងក៏មានចិត្តស្រលាញ់បុរសម្នាក់ ហើយក៏បានរស់នៅជាមួយគ្នានៅក្នុងព្រៃមួយ ។​​ ក្រោយមកព្រះបិតាក៏បញ្ជាអោយយក្សជាកូនចៅយាមល្បាតហ៊ុមពទ្ធ័ព្រៃនោះយ៉ាងរឹងមាំ ហើយយក្សមួយក្រុមទៀតក៏បានដកព្រៃគ្រវែងចោលហើយនាំគ្នាជីកកកាយរកនាងគ្រប់កន្លែង។ តែមិនអាចរកឃើញបុត្រីឡើយ​។ អាស្រ័យហេតុពួកយក្សកកាយយរក នាងសក់ក្រអូបនេះហើយ ទើបមាននៅសល់បឺងមួយនៅខេត្តរតនគិរី ហោថា បឹងយក្សឡោម រហូតដល់សព្វថ្ងៃ ។​

“Princess Sak Kraorb” was the daughter of a giant. When she came of age, she fell in love with a man, and they lived together in a forest.
Later, her father ordered his giant followers to tightly guard and surround the forest. Another group of giants cleared the forest and dug through the land everywhere in search of her. However, they could not find the princess. It is said that because the giants dug up the land so much while searching for Princess Sak Kraorb ,a large lake remained in what is now Ratanakiri Province, which to this day is called “Boeng Yak Lom”
