Hoppity is a little rabbit (or bunny) who has never experienced a thunderstorm. One night, when a thunderstorm arrives for the first time, Hoppity hears loud noises—thunder, flashes of lightning, maybe wind and rain—and becomes frightened because everything is unfamiliar.
Hoppity struggles with fear and uncertainty. The darkness, the loud sounds, the bright flashes all make Hoppity feel unsafe and unsure.
