នារដូវក្តៅមួយមានកណ្តូបកម្ជិលមួយកំពុងច្រៀងលេងនៅវាលស្មៅ ។​នៅជិតនោះមានស្រមោចមួយហ្វូងកំពុងជញ្ជូនស្បៀងអាហារ ។ រដូវរងារបានចូលមកដល់កណ្តូបគ្មានចំណីអាហារទើបវាទៅរកស្រមោចតែស្រមោចមិនចែកអាហារអោយទៅកណ្តូបទេ ។​ចាប់ពីពេលនោះមកសំលេងច្រៀងរបស់កណ្តូបក៏លែងមានទៀតដែរ ។​

One summer, a lazy grasshopper was singing in the meadow, and a group of ants was delivering food. Winter came and the grasshopper had no food, so they went to look for the ants, but the ants did not distribute the food to the grasshopper. Later on, the grasshopper's singing was gone.
