កង្កែបនិងកណ្តុរជាមិត្តនិងគ្នា​។​ ថ្ងៃមួយកង្កែបបានយកខ្សែរមកចងជើងវាជាប់នឺងជើងកណ្តុរ។​ ពួកវាបានទៅដល់មាត់ត្រពាំងមួយហើយកង្កែបក៏លោតចូលក្នុងទីក ហើយកណ្តុរក៏លង់ទឺកស្លាប់បាត់ទៅ។​​ ក្រោយមកក៏មានសត្វស្ទាំងបានស្រង់កណ្តុរនិងកង្កែបចេញពីទឺក ធ្វើអោយសត្វស្ទាំងបានចំណីពីរក្នុងពេលតែមួយ​។​

Frog and mouse are friends. One day, a frog tied a rope around its legs with a mouse's leg. They reached the mouth of a pond, and the frog jumped into the pond and the rat drowned. Later, hawks pulled mouse and frog out of the water, giving the hawk two feeds at a time.
