អក្សរសិល្ប៍ខ្មែរ

សង្រ្គាមលោកលើកទីមួយបានផ្ទុះឡើងក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩១៤ ដល់១៩១៩ ដែលប្រទេសកម្ពុជាស្ថិត​នៅក្រោមនឹមអាណានិគមបារាំង ប្រជារាស្ត្រខ្មែររងទុក្ខវេទនាត្រូវពួកអាណានិគមកេណ្ឌឲ្យទៅ​ច្បាំងប្រឆាំងនឹងពួកផាស៊ីសអាឡឺម៉ង់។ ទន្ទឹមនឹងនោះការឡើងថ្លៃពន្ធដារក៏កាន់តែកើនឡើងជា​រៀងរាល់ខែ ធ្វើឲ្យប្រជារាស្រ្តមានការក្តៅក្រហាយយ៉ាងខ្លាំង។ ប្រជារាស្រ្តនៅស្រុកមុខកំពូលចំនួន​៣០០០នាក់បានធ្វើបាតុកម្ម ធ្វើញត្តិសុំឲ្យស្តេចស៊ីសុវត្ថិជួយបន្ធូរបន្ថយអំពីបញ្ហាពន្ធដារនេះ។ សូម្បីតែធម្មជាតិក៏មានការក្តៅក្រហាយពុះកញ្រ្ជោលខ្លាំងដែរ ដូចជាមានរន្ទះបាញ់ចេតិយព្រះកែវ​មរកត និងផ្កាយដុះកន្ទុយជាដើម ។
