Malaria has been one of the major killer diseases in Cambodia and the Royal Government of Cambodia have not only committed key resources to control the scourge but also launched a long term strategic plan to eliminate malaria in the country by 2025. To collect all the relevant information and documents from different sources from around the year 1951 until May 2011 and compile in the form of a book in order to present this as a significant malaria document for the future generations of the country and especially to those individuals and organization that would be interested in learning about challenge posed by the disease and how the diseases burden has been overcome through a national program that involved from an emergency mission mode program through control and sustained control to an ambitious elimination program.
