Joe was at the lakeside with his sisters and their little friends having a very happy time. Some were paddling, others were fishing. Joe, although only four years old, was a very brave boy. He was wading out with the others just as far as his baby legs would take him - or rather, just as far as his short would let him for he had been told not to get out.
