រឿង «យក្ខិនីមុខសេះ» គឺជារឿងនិទានបុរាណខ្មែរ អំពីយក្ខិនី (អារក្សស្រី) ដែលមានមុខដូចសេះ។

នាងមានសមត្ថភាពបំលែងខ្លួនឲ្យមើលទៅដូចមនុស្សស្រីស្រស់ស្អាត ដើម្បីបោកបញ្ឆោតអ្នកដំណើរ ឬបុរសវ័យក្មេង។ ពេលដែលជនរងគ្រោះជឿទុកចិត្ត នាងក៏បង្ហាញរូបរាងពិតរបស់នាង ហើយធ្វើអំពើអាក្រក់ទៅលើពួកគេ។

នៅក្នុងរឿង តែងមានតួអង្គមនុស្សឆ្លាត ឬក្លាហាន ដែលអាចរកឃើញអាថ៌កំបាំងរបស់នាង និងរួចផុតពីគ្រោះថ្នាក់ ឬក៏យកឈ្នះនាងបាន។

“Yakkhini Muk Sese” (The Horse-Faced Yakshini) is a traditional Khmer folktale about a terrifying female spirit (yakshini) who has the face of a horse. She is known for disguising herself as a normal woman to trick people, especially travelers or young men.
