មានព្រះចៅអធិរាជមួយអង្គគ្រងរាជនៅនគរមួយ ។ ទ្រង់សព្វហរទ័យនឹងសម្លាក់បំពាក់ល្អៗដែលមានតម្លៃថ្លៃ ។ ថ្លៃមួយមានចោរបន្លំខ្លួនធ្វើជាជាងដេរ​ ពួកចោរក៏បានមាសជាច្រើនពីព្រះចៅអធិរាជតែអ្វីដែលទ្រង់ទទួលបាននោះគី អាវមួយ ខោមួយនិងផាហុំមួយ ។ តែទ្រង់សព្វហរទ័យណាស់ទ្រង់បានស្លៀកចេញក្រៅរាជវាំង រហូតបានជួបនឹងក្មេងម្នាក់និយាយថាទ្រង់ស្រាតននលគក​ ធ្វើអោយទ្រង់ខ្មាសហើយក៏ត្រលប់ចូលរាជវាំងវិញ ។​ There was once an emperor who ruled over a certain kingdom. He dearly loved wearing fine and expensive clothes. One day, some thieves disguised themselves as tailors. They received a great amount of gold from the emperor, but what he actually got from them was just a shirt, a pair of pants, and a scarf. The emperor was very pleased and proudly wore them outside the palace. However, he met a child who told him that he was completely naked. The emperor was embarrassed and hurried back into the palace.
