រឿងនេះនិយាយពីវិធីដែលសត្វកូនលោក បានកើតឡើង តាំងពីដំណើររបស់វា ការប្រឈមមុខជីវិត និងទំនាក់ទំនងរបស់វាជាមួយសត្វផ្សេងទៀត និងមនុស្ស។ វាជារឿងពេញនិយមសម្រាប់កុមារ ដោយផ្ទុកនូវអំណោយធម៌ និងការសំបូរខាងកំប្លែងបែបសំណើច។ In ancient times, it is said that a supreme deity created a type of animal that was small in size but fast, intelligent, and possessed a unique identity. That animal was called "Kon Lok" (meaning "the Lord's child" or a special creature in Khmer folklore). It is believed that this creature was born either from the gods’ playful mischief or as a result of human karma.
