Later, a traveling merchant found the egg and took it. A few days later, the egg hatched, and the boy was named Rong.
The story also tells of Sovann Ransi, the son of a wealthy man, who had two wives. He then fell in love with Lady Yika. He used magical spells to capture her and take her into a quiet forest.
Later, Sovann Ransi brought all three of his wives to meet the Great King (Preah Maha Ureach). Sovann Ransi fought in many battles. Because of this, the Great King arranged a grand ceremony to bestow upon Sovann Ransi the noble title of "Techo Domden."
